The Beginnings Of A Dynasty
X-Men takes place in the near future, as certain humans have evolved into mutants with special powers. In the Canadian wilderness, a young runaway mutant named Rogue and Wolverine, a bad-tempered, quick-healing mutant with retractable metal claws, are suddenly attacked by the powerful Magneto and his lackeys. Fortunately, Cyclops and Storm, students of the compassionate Professor Charles Xavier, interfere and bring them back to Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Here Wolverine and Rogue learn more about the conflict between Xavier and the militant Magneto, who wants to power a device that will genetically alter humans, with possibly deadly results. Only Xavier’s students can stop Magneto’s plans.
Already living in a society that mistrusts them, the mutants are faced with even more discrimination after an unforeseen enemy-who may be a mutant with extraordinary powers-launches a devastating attack. The news of the assault causes a public outcry against the mutants, including renewed support for the Mutant Registration Act, and William Stryker, a military leader rumored to have experimented on mutants (possibly including Wolverine), is among the most vocal supporters of the legislation. Stryker puts into motion a plan to eradicate the mutants and begins an offensive on the X-Men mansion and school. Magneto, having escaped from his plastic prison, forms an unlikely alliance with Professor Xavier to stop Stryker. Meanwhile, Wolverine heads north to investigate his past.
In X-Men: The Last Stand, the final chapter in the X-Men motion picture trilogy, a "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier, who preaches tolerance, and Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test-triggering the war to end all wars.

From the pages of Jack Kirby and Stan Lee’s comic book, the green goliath smashes onto the big screen in Ang Lee’s inventive depiction of the world’s favorite brute. Upon his father’s experiments and a freak accident of exposure to gamma radiation, scientist Bruce Banner suddenly has a new way to let his inner rage out. When angered, something is triggered and Banner transforms into the Hulk, an unrelenting force of rage that seems to have only one weakness-a soft spot for Banner’s ex-girlfriend, Betty Ross. With a world that misunderstands him, a father that wants to use him, and a military that tries to control him, the incredible Hulk blazes a path of destruction and shows how unstoppable he truly is. Hulk smash! "The Incredible Hulk" kicks off an all-new, explosive and action-packed epic of one of the most popular super heroes of all time. In this new beginning, scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) desperately hunts for a cure to the gamma radiation that poisoned his cells and unleashes the unbridled force of rage within him: The Hulk.
Living in the shadows—cut off from a life he knew and the woman he loves, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler)—Banner struggles to avoid the obsessive pursuit of his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt) and the military machinery that seeks to capture him and brutally exploit his power.
As all three grapple with the secrets that led to the Hulk's creation, they are confronted with a monstrous new adversary known as the Abomination (Tim Roth), whose destructive strength exceeds even the Hulk's own.
And on June 13, 2008, one scientist must make an agonizing final choice: accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or find heroism in the creature he holds inside—The Incredible Hulk.
